The vision for Oceans of Love International began with a powerful dream given in 1994 to Pastor Emmanuel Kwesi Dunyo while living in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana, West Africa. In the dream, he saw Christian professionals traveling from nation to nation with the resources and ability to provide hope, help, healing, and support to underserved communities around the world. The dream was repeated again in 1997, confirming a divine calling to missions and humanitarian work.
After relocating to the United States in 2002, Pastor Dunyo officially established and incorporated a 501(c)(3) missions organization in the State of Maryland. Originally founded as Rescue Missions International, the organization later evolved into Oceans of Love International to better reflect its global mission of extending God’s love beyond borders and boundaries.
Today, Pastor Dunyo serves as the Senior Pastor of Glorious Tabernacle Outreach Church in Olney, Maryland, where missions and community outreach remain at the heart of the ministry. Since 2007, Oceans of Love International has carried out missions and humanitarian initiatives in Ghana, Togo, Haiti, and Belize. Through partnerships with volunteers, healthcare professionals, churches, and supporters, OOLI has provided:
•Free medical screenings and healthcare services
•Eye screenings and distribution of eyeglasses
•Hygiene and health education seminars
•Community blood drives in partnership with local hospitals
•Children and youth outreach programs
•Women’s empowerment initiatives
•Leadership development and training
•Evangelism and church planting

OOLI’s mission is not only to meet immediate physical and spiritual needs, but also to equip individuals and communities with practical skills, education, and resources that create lasting transformation.
